I have long straight hair and i am getting really bored by it. got any suggestions?

ok so my hiar is brown. mid back length and straighter than a board. all i ever do it pony's buns , messy buns, braids...and some other stuff. but im getting bored with it. i kinda want a shorter style but i have a rounder face and am not sure about the style or length. got any tips pictures ideas?

Speaking from experience, short hair looks cute on girls with round faces (and all hair magazines will tell you the same!) If your getting bored, try a new color, shorter length (maybe just under your collar bone) and cut into layers. Curl your hair with curlers or curling iron (hot rollers will make your hair REALLY curly) Your options are endless. Try going to any store and pick up some hair styling books. They offer great advice and have lots of pictures!

i dont like picket straight hair. its sorta gross lookin! lol no offense. u can go to cvs and pick up a bottle of volumizing spray. get a cut with ur regular straight hair with a bang and picket down. then, add volumizing spray, and it;ll be so cute

I had my hair like that also, and my face is really round. My hair now is pretty much like my avatar...it's so cute and a lot more fun to style. Also the A-line bobs are really in style now and it will make your round face look longer.

Om just like my older sis!! we Korean btw. Ohk, she curled her hair or yeah. But then she wanted a HUGE change!! So she went to a korean hair place and got a super cute, short layerered choopy hair! ;D

i have a rounder face and I chopped my waist length hair 6 years ago and have never looked back!! I did the jennifer aniston look, the vicki beckam look, edgy, layered, all over color, high lights, low lights- I have done alot. I have been able to have so much more fun with my hair I dont think I will ever go long again.

if you go to an experienced stylist who A) knows your hair/head shape (ie shape of head, colics, hair consistancy, face shape etc) and B) knows you; - they should be able to tell you what would work for you. I have done that every time I have got my hair cut and loved how things turn out. If you find some style you like- bring the pics in and ask them if that would work for you. They should be able to tell you why or why not!!

what's your complexion? do you wear make up? you might want to try a new color or a few highlights. personally i like long hair so before you consider anything shorter (that you won't be able to reverse), consider a few more options. you said it's straight, but is it fine or thick? so by the way, have you ever thought about a perm? also, what kinds of tools do you use? that's to say straighteners, curling irons or even crimpers or none of the above? just a few hot rollers here and there could make all the difference just by adding that extra little bit of bounce or body to your hair. i have a sister with the same problem, trust me. hope that helps, would love any feedback. :)
