Styles for curly hair?

Okay, I have naturally curly hair. It's really thick and about sholder or longer in length. Usually i wear my hair in a bun or in a half ponytail. But i am tired of it. So could you give me some tips? thanx =D

i have the same problem. i straightened my hair for years but then decided i wanted to control my curls. you should by v05 curling mousse. you just put a smidge in when your hair is wet and it dries in tight curls. DO NOT brush your hair when it is dry because the curls will be ruined and your hair will frizz uncontrollably.

leave it out.

you could try wearing headbands they make any hairstyle look cute. you could also try side pony tails, or clipping half it back on each side.

Messy braids!!!! All the guys i know tell me my hair looks really good in braids. But not really tight ones, just loose, natural looking ones. Good luck, girl!!!

Step One Choose a hairdresser experienced in curly/dry hair.

Step Two Have your hairdresser help you choose a hairstyle that is easy to maintain--preferably one that just requires a wet-and-go approach.

Step Three Once you have your favored style, visit your stylist at least 4 times a year to trim split ends.

Step Four Don't let your hairstylist use a razor to layer your hair (although layering is good.) Razors contribute to split ends.

Step Five Don't wash hair every day. This kind of hair needs the natural oils from your scalp to reduce frizz.

Step Six To upkeep your desired style, just wet hair with some conditioner on non-washing days (rinse thoroughly).

Step Seven Avoid using hairdryers unless necessary. Blowdrying hair dries it out.

Step Eight Believe it or not, grease, mousses and gels make caring for this kind of hair harder!! Chemical build-ups require more washing than is healthy.

Step Nine If you must use products, use high-quality, health-food store or salon products that leave little residue.

Step Ten Do not brush, unless you want a 'fro.

Step Eleven Love your hair! Many are envious of the regal quality of curly hair!
