the dress is like fitted around the bust and then flares out, goes to mid thigh. my hair is down to my but and probably about18 inches long. its a little wavy but doesn't hold curls. i have time to do a nice hairdo.

Use about 4 bobby pins to hold the top section of your hair back. Make sure its not too tight, you want a little bit of a bump on top, but not too much.. I wear this hair style a lot with my dresses. Hope it looks great!!

a messy bun will look good...or you could do a roller set to lock in the curl that you want

well you can always just do a medium-big pump in the middle and flat iron your hair.

i have a dress like the one you described, and one of the hairstyles i wear with it is a loose messy bun with my bangs framing my face. it looks cute if you use a fancy beret, clip or chopsticks that match the dress.
